Alexis Bennett, MSW, LICSW
Life is hard, isn’t it? We live in a complex world that can feel overwhelming. Most of us were never taught the tools to manage emotional and mental challenges, which can lead to anxiety, depression, and disconnection. The good news is—you don’t have to face it alone. Alexis offers a compassionate space to help you uncover what’s keeping you from living your fullest, most joyful life.
Alexis enjoys working with adults navigating anxiety, perfectionism, grief, trauma, job stress, and relationship challenges. She tailors each session to meet your unique needs and goals, offering a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences, reconnect with your inner strength, and begin to heal. Her work is grounded in the belief that meaningful change is possible through connection, insight, and compassion.
She also works with adolescents ages 11 and up, especially those struggling with emotional regulation, ADHD, peer relationships, and family conflict. Her approach with teens blends structure, humor, and warmth—helping them feel seen, supported, and empowered.
With extensive experience and a deep passion for supporting individuals who are differently abled, Alexis offers compassionate care to both clients and their caregivers as they navigate the unique challenges and strengths of their journey.
Alexis views therapy as a collaborative process that fosters growth. Her style is warm, validating, and often infused with humor—you’ll likely laugh together. She wants to help you find healthier ways of coping with life’s ups and downs. You’re not healing just to survive trauma, pain, or anxiety. You’re healing to make space for joy, connection, and the possibility of happiness. Alexis is a soft spot to land each week. Let her help carry the weight.
