Anastazia Acker, MS

Navigating life’s challenges on your own can sometimes be overwhelming and heavy. I believe therapy is a meaningful step toward understanding yourself and finding balance in life. My approach is to walk alongside you with respect and care as you work through challenges and build resilience.

I graduated with my M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Grand View University. Priorto this, I worked in the equine industry and the non-profit sector, experiences that shaped my understanding of connection and healing. I combine a Person-Centered approach with Bowen Family Systems Theory to honor your unique experience while exploring the relationships and patterns that influence your life. I also incorporate strengths-based and trauma-informed perspectives to create a safe environment for healing.

If desired, faith can be integrated into therapy, respecting your individual beliefs and preferences.

I work with individuals (ages 18 and up) and couples, with special interests in:

● Supporting military service members and their families

● Navigating infertility and pregnancy-related challenges

● Men’s mental health

● Couples counseling

● Trauma-informed care and building resilience

My goal is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and empowered to grow in a way that honors your whole self, mind, body, and spirit.
