Anne Silverman, MSW, LICSW

ADHD Coach

There’s nothing wrong with your brain. ADHD just means it works differently, and understanding that difference holds incredible power. With the right coach, you learn how your mind works, build the tools to thrive, and finally see yourself through a lens of strength, not struggle.

Anne is a licensed clinical social worker, educational consultant, and an executive function and parent coach with over 30 years of comprehensive experience gained in educational, clinical, and non-profit environments. A core aspect of her practice, and indeed a passion, is supporting clients in developing critical executive function skills. This includes enhancing their ability to initiate and complete tasks, strategically plan, optimize organization, effectively manage time, improve working memory, and strengthen emotional regulation. She is also especially ardent about helping families understand and navigate the school system, so their children with learning differences get the support they need to thrive and reach their full educational potential.

As your coach, she offers a compassionate, non-judgmental space to explore and improve upon your executive function challenges. Through deep listening, you will together develop personalized strategies that truly align with how your brain works. Her goal is to empower you with new strengths, modifications and tools, unlocking your untapped potential through consistent support and actionable change.

As your educational consultant, she’ll help you create an education plan, usually as a 504 or Individual Education Program (IEP), that fits your child’s unique learning strengths and challenges. Together, you will advocate to make this plan a reality in their school setting.

Anne’s journey into educational consulting and executive function coaching spans over 30 years, deeply rooted in both professional practice and personal experience. As a parent, she guided two incredible, uniquely wired children through the complexities of ADHD, and as a partner, she has supported her husband diagnosed with ADHD. This personal immersion highlighted a critical gap: essential executive function skills are often overlooked in traditional education, presenting a major hurdle for many, including her own children and husband. Through advocating for and coaching her family to unlock their potential in academics, careers, and daily life, she witnessed the profound, life-changing impact of tailored support. This experience ignited her passion to help others achieve their own breakthroughs and realize their full potential.

She received her BA from the University of Wisconsin at Madison and her MSW from The University of St. Thomas/College of St Catherine. She has over three decades of work as a children’s mental health case manager, school social worker, special education program coordinator, therapist, and executive function coach.

Educational Consulting

As a parent, you want what’s best for your child, especially when it comes to their education. If your child has a disability or learning difference, navigating the school system can feel confusing and overwhelming—but you don’t have to do it alone. We are here to support you every step of the way.

We take the time to really get to know your child—their strengths, challenges, learning style, and goals—so we can build an education plan that truly fits who they are. Advocating with you and for you, making sure your child’s rights are respected and that they receive the services and accommodations they need to succeed is paramount to our support.

Whether you're just beginning to identify your child’s educational needs or looking to improve what’s already in place (i.e. IEP, 504 plan), we’ll help you create and implement a plan that makes sense for your child. If you’re exploring school options, we can help you identify programs and placements that are the right fit.

Throughout this journey, collaboration is the priority—working closely with you, your child’s school, and other professionals to create a strong and unified support system.

We’ll guide you through the legal and procedural aspects of general and/or special education, helping you understand what to expect and how to advocate with confidence.

We also care deeply about inclusion and will support your efforts to ensure your child is welcomed and supported in general education settings.

Finally, when it comes to thinking about the future—college, career paths, or other post-high school plans—We’ll help you and your child take the next steps with clarity and purpose.

You don’t have to figure it all out on your own. We are here to help you feel empowered, informed, and confident as you support your child’s growth and success.how your mind works, build the tools to thrive, and finally see yourself through a lens of strength, not struggle.
