Lauren Becker, MS, LMFT

Therapy isn’t about fixing people - it’s about helping clients reconnect with who they are, how they relate, and what they want their life to look like. Sometimes that means untangling old family dynamics or healing wounds that have shaped their way of loving and being loved. Other times, it means learning new ways of communicating, setting boundaries, or navigating a difficult transition like a breakup, divorce or family crisis.

Lauren is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with years of experience helping individuals, couples, and families do just that - known for her honest and direct approach, Lauren combines goal-oriented strategies with empathy and insight, helping clients feel heard, understood, and motivated to do something different. She believes therapy should not only be a space for self-understanding but also for action - each session is designed to help clients leave with a clear, practical plan to support their growth and healing.

As an LMFT, Lauren approaches therapy through a systemic lens, recognizing that individuals are shaped by their relationships, families, and broader environments. Her work draws from a range of evidence-based modalities, including Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-based therapy, and mindfulness-based interventions. Above all, Lauren believes that change is possible—and that with the right support, everyone has the capacity to better understand themselves, discover inner strengths, and create a better version of themselves and their relationships.

Lauren holds a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Puget Sound. Originally from Washington State, she now lives and practices in Minnesota.
