About Jessica

From the outside, it looks like you’re holding it all together. Inside, you’re exhausted. Maybe you're constantly overthinking, juggling everyone's needs, feeling burned out, or wondering why it's so hard to slow your mind down. Perhaps anxiety, ADHD, stress, perfectionism, or a major life transition has left you feeling disconnected from yourself. Whether you're an adult navigating the demands of work, relationships, parenthood, or personal growth, or a teen learning to manage life's challenges, you don't have to figure it out alone. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel genuinely seen, understood, and supported. My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based therapy, mindfulness, and self-compassion. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build practical tools that work in everyday life, and help you create lasting change—not by becoming someone different, but by reconnecting with the person you already are. I enjoy working with adults experiencing anxiety, ADHD, chronic stress, overwhelm, burnout, perfectionism, low self-esteem, and life transitions. I also take great joy in working with teens who are navigating anxiety, self-esteem, emotional regulation, and the pressures of growing up. My goal is to help clients move beyond simply managing symptoms and toward living with greater confidence, balance, and resilience. I earned my Master of Arts in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Adler Graduate School and also hold bachelor's degrees in Education and Fine Arts. I hold a certificate as a Mindfulness Mentor from Baynan. My background as an educator continues to shape my work with adolescents and young adults, while my training in mindfulness helps clients develop greater awareness, emotional balance, and self-kindness. I believe healing happens through both insight and action, and I strive to offer a balance of compassionate support and practical strategies that clients can use long after they leave the therapy room. Outside of my clinical work, I volunteer as a therapist with the Walk-In Counseling Center in Minneapolis and serve as Secretary of the Board of Directors for A2D Academy, a nonprofit after-school education center in Edina. I'm also the author of The Love Inside, a children's book that encourages emotional awareness and self-compassion, and I enjoy offering free community book readings and mindfulness experiences for children and families. My passion for mental wellness has also led me to speak on podcasts and contribute to local magazine features focused on emotional well-being, parenting, and resilience. Seeking therapy is a courageous investment in yourself. Whether you're looking for support through a difficult season or hoping to better understand yourself and create meaningful change, I'd be honored to walk alongside you.
