About Jessica
Adulthood rarely looks like what we imagined - especially when no one in your family has done it quite the way you're trying to. There's no blueprint for this. You might be doing everything "right" and still feel lost, overwhelmed, burned out, and not sure how you got here. I'm here to support you through life's many transitions - whether you're navigating college, post-grad uncertainty, career shifts, the demands of parenthood, or questioning your life choices so far. Wherever you are, I'll meet you there with a warm, practical, no-nonsense approach grounded in empathy, humor, and real talk. You are the expert in your own life, not me. My role is to help you uncover and reconnect with your strengths. Together, we'll develop sustainable strategies for growth - ones that actually work for you. And along the way, we'll lighten the load. I work with college students, young adults, and parents figuring out who they are outside of who they've had to be. As a Latina, first-born daughter of immigrant parents, a young parent, and someone who lives with ADHD - I get the pressure, the guilt, the invisible labor. That lived experience is why my work feels different. I specialize in intergenerational trauma, narcissistic relationships, anxiety and depression, and ADHD (including late diagnosis). My background as a school social worker adds depth to my approach - especially around emotional regulation, academic challenges, family dynamics, and belonging. Together, we'll explore your experiences, challenge unhelpful patterns, build self-trust, and move toward a life that feels more like you. Sessions are welcome in English, Spanish, or Spanglish - whatever feels most natural to you. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California and an undergraduate degree in History and Political Science from the University of Michigan. She is a Licensed Graduate Social Worker (LGSW). Outside of her professional life, Jessica enjoys spending time with family and friends, exploring the outdoors, reading, and finding out the best al pastor tacos in Minnesota.
