About Leah

Life throws a lot our way, and it can often be hard to know how to handle it all. With over 21 years of experience in the mental health field, Leah offers a highly supportive environment where clients can learn to navigate life's emotional and stressful challenges. Leah's ultimate goal is to help her clients achieve their personal goals and live their best lives. Leah has a unique ability to relate to her clients on a personal level, viewing therapy as a highly collaborative process that fosters genuine growth. Her therapeutic style is rooted in authenticity, humor, and warmth, creating a safe space where clients consistently feel welcomed, heard, and validated. Leah specializes in supporting individuals navigating cancer, chronic illness, grief, anxiety, and depression. She understands that a new medical diagnosis often brings complex feelings of distress, anxiety, fear, and grief. She is also deeply committed to supporting caregivers, recognizing that their emotional exhaustion is frequently overlooked in the shadow of a loved one's medical treatment. Believing strongly in the profound healing value of being understood, Leah supports her clients with a powerful blend of compassion and clinical expertise, recognizing that every journey is unique and deserving of a listening ear. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Westmont College and a Master of Social Work from the University of Southern California. When she is not doing therapy, Leah enjoys spending time with her husband and 2 children, extended family, and friends.
